Austadiums Updates

While work continues on the new Austadiums website, the existing site has been given a bit of a touch up, including a fresh new logo, also applied across all social media channels.

Austadiums continues to be a popular source of information, attracting an average of 2,500 visits per day, sometimes peaking at double that. 450 venues are now listed on the site – mostly from Australia and New Zealand, but also venues from China, Singapore & PNG, where Australian events have been held.

Listed on the website is every sports event since the start of 2003 – most of which include attendance data. At last count, there are almost 17,500 events listed in the database, including all the 2018 fixtures for AFL, NRL and Super Rugby.

The refreshed logo is clean, bold and modern and looks far better on social media platforms, where it has been applied to all connected accounts. An AUSPORT variant of the logo has also been created for the @au_sport twitter account which automatically tweets all sports results and attendance figures.

The header of the site has been updated slightly with the removal of the top bar and repositioning of the search box and social icons. Regular visitors to the site will notice a number of subtle changes across the board.

The new Austadiums News will launch soon to the existing email database of around 2,000 people and work continues on the long-overdue new website.

Don’t forget to follow Austadiums on all forms of social media including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram (@austadiums).
