CV Media project managed the install of the new digital LED scoreboard at Boss James Reserve which was completed prior to the start of the 2017 football season.
The scoreboard, supplied and built by Solid, has resulted in a huge uplift in sponsorship for the Hampton Rovers Football Club while also enhancing match day for fans and players.
The scoreboard screen layout and graphics were designed by CV Media. Sponsor logos are shown after each goal as well as at pre & post game and during breaks. It also has the capability to display video – perfect for television commercials.
The screen is four metres wide by two metres high and is connected to the pavilion by fibre optic cable making it future-proof and able to display live HD video. Power also had to be connected to the new structure with both cables connected via an underground horizontal bore. On LED screen is protected by an automatic roller door to prevent vandalism.
The scoreboard was fully funded by the Hampton Rovers Football Club and Hampton Cricket Club and work to install it was undertaken by a number of people from both clubs. It is sure to prove a real asset for both clubs. Read more on the Rovers website.
