Rovers rebrand

CV Media has unveiled a new look for the Hampton Rovers Football Club with the release of a new club logo and the launch of a new club website.

The new logo has been a long time coming and has been an exhaustive process – something that is a must for a club almost 90 years old. Multiple versions were created, people within the club consulted and countless revisions made as the logo was perfected.  It features a strong, bold, modern HR to clearly identify what it is, Hampton Rovers FC across the top and proudly displaying the founding year across the bottom. The new logo was rolled out across all digital channels while merchandise will progressively be updated.

The logo announcement coincided with the launch of a brand-new club website – developed from the ground-up for the 2018 season and beyond. Hampton Rovers were one of the first clubs to have an online presence, way back in 1998, and continue to lead the way in the digital space.

The site has been developed in WordPress and is now responsive so the entire site works seamlessly across all devices. It has an improved layout, better fixture lists, player profiles for everyone who has played seniors since 2003, news archive also dating back to 2003, plus many more features.

A great new addition is the online shop, developed using WooCommerce, where players and supporters can purchase merchandise, membership and event tickets online. The e-commerce site uses Stripe as the payment gateway, making it easier for customers to purchase online.
